PART 1
Many of our readers will be familiar with the term alkaline. In a two part blog post we are going to take a look at what it means to be Alkaline and how you can reclaim your energy with alkaline living in just a few simple changes.
Are you too acidic?
An overly acidic body can potentially lead to a variety of health disorders and conditions. When our acid/alkaline levels are imbalanced our bodies are forced to work extra hard to carry out basic functions. An acidic system combined with other environmental and hereditary factors can make us feel low in energy, sluggish, and can be the cornerstone to many other symptoms, conditions and diseases. Addressing a few, simple diet issues can help you reclaim your energy with alkaline living. Let’s take a closer look at what’s happening in the body.
“Your body’s many functions, beginning at the cellular level, are performed most efficiently and effectively when your internal environment is in a state of acid-alkaline balance.” Anthony Robbins, Unlimited Power
The Problem
Nutrients from food are best absorbed when the body’s pH level is within the correct range. A number of problems result when your body enters a state of acid-alkaline imbalance. Even the slightest imbalance may interfere with the proper absorption and utilization of nutrients. If acid-alkaline imbalance persists, eventually nutritional deficiencies follow, and the stage is set for the progression of the disease process.
Common Symptoms of an Acidic Body
These are just some of the symptoms that may indicate your system is too acidic. We encourage you to seek professional and/or medical advice from a trusted healthcare provider to investigate these issues further.
- Weight gain
- General flat feeling/low energy throughout day

- Irritated urinary tract and bladder
