A re mangoes not the most amazing fruit that Mother Nature has ever created? Well, they are in our house. This mango and banana dairy free smoothie by Sabrina from Rawspirations is totally rawspirational! It’s a huge hit with kids and adults alike and also makes some pretty amazing creamy ice lollies too.

Mango and Banana Dairy Free Smoothie

When it comes to smoothies I tend to stick to my favorites and rarely bother to try something new. I think I’m going to have to change that habit as after trying out this mango smoothie, I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing mango tastes in smoothies, it’s definitely a must try. And particularly good for pregnant women in need of some added Vitamins C, B6, A, K and folate in their diet!

To make, blend the following ingredients.

3-4 slices frozen mango pieces
1 frozen banana
1 ½ cups of coconut milk or almond milk or both
raw vegan vanilla protein powder (optional)
1 tablespoon rice malt syrup (optional)

For added nutrition you can add lucuma, maca or chia seed 🙂
