Mango and Banana Dairy Free Smoothie

When it comes to smoothies I tend to stick to my favorites and rarely bother to try something new. I think I’m going to have to change that habit as after trying out this mango smoothie, I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing mango tastes in smoothies, it’s definitely a must try. And particularly good for pregnant women in need of some added Vitamins C, B6, A, K and folate in their diet!
To make, blend the following ingredients.
3-4 slices frozen mango pieces
1 frozen banana
1 ½ cups of coconut milk or almond milk or both
raw vegan vanilla protein powder (optional)
1 tablespoon rice malt syrup (optional)
For added nutrition you can add lucuma, maca or chia seed 🙂
